Resumen:
Intercultural education is an education of interpersonal relationships, which involves members of different
cultures, whose fundamental objective is to increase the effectiveness of intercultural relations, to increase the degree
of openness, tolerance, acceptance of others. The integration of intercultural education in the school space is a complex and not at all easy process, which requires specific skills
and approaches from teachers. Pupils, from the earliest ages,
namely, primary schools, should be able to appreciate the
richness of a diverse range of cultures and be helped in practical ways to recognize and challenge stereotypes. Wherever
prejudice and discrimination exist, they must be addressed.
