Resumen:
The degradation of materials under the effects of corrosion in the industry worldwide generates
an impact of 2.5 billion US$, which is equivalent to 3.4% World GDP (2013) (NACE, 2016).
It is estimated that between 15-35% of the cost can be saved through the implementation of
strategies to control the damage mechanisms. Which would increase the useful life of the
facilities, generate savings from avoiding the unforeseen stoppage of processes, avoid damage
to people and the environment. In Argentina there are various entities that regulate integrity
management in facilities (Ministry of Energy and Mining, 2017) (Secretary of Energy of the
Nation, 2005) (Enargas, 2010), specifically in the Oil and Gas Production industry. where it is
essential to follow regulations that ensure continuity in the operation avoiding damage to
people and the environment (Integrity in Gas and Oil Facilities, 2010). The operators have
various strategies to address compliance with these regulations, some of them provide a highimpact management model both in terms of resources and rigor, and others ensure minimum
compliance with the standard. But it is a common denominator, the lack of contractors with an
elevated level of specificity in the matter.
This project proposes the implementation in the San Jorge Gulf Basin of a company that
supplies the global integrity management service, Integritas Summa, from the associated
engineering to the execution of the maintenance activities necessary to use the facilities safely.
and in compliance with the best integrity standards in the industry, delivering a global service
that will allow the client to present to the authorities the documentation that supports their
compliance with the regulations.
The service offered by Integritas Summa bases its value proposition on closeness to the client,
on specialization in the sector and on the certification of its professionals. These characteristics
of the venture supply a fundamental differentiation in a local market that today offers them to
us.
This business proposal is favored by the growing pressures to which companies that exploit
hydrocarbon deposits are subjected, with respect to guaranteeing the sustainability of their
operations. Said sustainability is based on contained risk operations, both for people, facilities
and the environment. Integritas Summa supplies a service aimed at offering solutions
following these premises.
The economic analysis conducted on this business plan concludes favorably, confirming its
viability. This is evidenced through a positive net present value and a solid sensitivity analysis,
considering an attractive rate of return for potential investors
